Our Philosophy and Mission
Statement

The program of Beatitudes Age Link is designed to develop the security, trust and self-esteem of all enrolled children. All staff receive ongoing training in the thoughtful application of the most recent developments  in the early childhood field. The Age Link program provides age-appropriate activities throughout the day. It is the intent of Age Link to always provide high quality child care and education to young children in a developmentally appropriate intergenerational setting that supports the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of children. The unique placement of Age Link adjacent to the Beatitudes Campus of Care has allowed us to include seniors in the planning of our program from its inception. Seniors serve in a variety of volunteer capacities: greeters, classroom assistants, working one-on-one with the children, rocking infants, clerical work, music and garden. We know that the richness of their experiences will enhance the quality of our program.
