A Day in the Life of Age Link

We start our day at Age Link at 6 a.m. Many of our friends arrive to play and begin their day.

Breakfast begins at 7.45 a.m. Our meals are prepared by a dietary staff from the Campus.  Small groups eat together in our dining room. Our intention is to maintain a family atmosphere with conversation in pleasant, unhurried surroundings.

Following breakfast, the children enjoy being engaged in many activities including story-time, block building, art, music, creative movement and outside play.

AGE LINK supports the position of establishing curriculum for young children.  We have developed a program for each age group which meets standards for accreditation.

A lesson plan of activities of the day is posted in each classroom. All activities are developmentally and age appropriate.

Lunch is served throughout the center beginning at 11:00 am. Following lunch our center rests.

Field trips that extend the learning for children will be planned with children's, parents and volunteers input. The Campus of Care affords us with many unique walking field trips. Some include the bank, the ice cream parlor, the drug store, the gift shop, a restaurant and a wellness clinic.
