Agelink Teaching Staff

High quality early childhood programs have well trained staff and low turnover.  Agelink is proud of the dedicated team of teachers who serve the children and families of our community.  Two thirds of the Agelink team has a Early Childhood Education Certificate, an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree.

 

Ms. Mallory has 2 children; her daughter, Kendra, and her son, Kaleb. Mallory always wanted to work with children and took part in the COOP Program in high school. Mallory is attending Glendale Community College and is working toward her AAS in Early Childhood Education. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 2006 and at Agelink since March of 2006.

 

Ms. Jennifer is the youngest of 3 in her family and the only girl. She’s a proud owner of 2 dogs Brownie and Mocha.  Jennifer is a high school graduate and has taken courses in Early Childhood Education. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1997 serving as part of the Agelink team 2007.

 

Ms. Raquel has been working hard in the Early Childhood field for nine years.  She is currently working on her certificate through Phoenix College.  When she is not building relationships with families and children she is running, shopping, spending time with her dog Chase, or getting ready to win the big Powerball.  Ms. Raquel has been employed with Agelink since October of 2007 and is looking forward to many more years or until she wins the Powerball.

 

Ms. Aida has her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and has been in the education field since 1985.  She was a high school teacher for 7 years before moving to the United States with her husband and son in 1997. She loves shopping, going to movies and working with children. Ms. Aida has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1997 and at Agelink since 1999.

 Ms. Edith loves working with children and is very active within her church community.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Edith has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1999 and at Agelink since 2006.

 

Ms. Tina is a single mother of an 18 year old.  She is currently enrolled at Paradise Valley Community College and is pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA).  She has been an Agelink employee since 2005.

 

 

Ms. Meghan has been working in the Childhood field for five years now and is in the process of finishing her Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood through Paradise Valley Community College.  Before coming to Agelink Ms. Meghan worked for the YMCA as a Site Coordinator. When she is not working she enjoys reading, shopping, watching the BBC and playing outdated video games on her wii.  Ms. Meghan has been employed at Agelink since October of 2007. 

 

Ms. Laura was born in Armenia and came to the US in 2005.  She was a music teacher for high school students and is currently teaching piano and singing on the weekends.  Ms. Laura has been married to her wonderful husband for 4 years and has 2 sons.  She has been employed with Agelink since February of 2008 and looks forward to bringing music to each of the classroom.

 

Ms. Megan is a loving mother of two, Thomas age 5 and Mady 18 months old. She has always wanted to work with children since she was about 15 years old. This is when she got her first job as a nanny for her younger cousin.  Since then she has worked in the childcare field with children ages infant to 5. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1995 and at Agelink since 2000.

Ms. De’Visha is currently a student at Phoenix College working on her Associate’s in Family Development. She has always had a passion for working with young children since she was about 15 yrs. old. She started her career in the child care field during her senior year in high school back in 1997. Mrs. De’Visha has one daughter, age 11, who attended Agelink when she was about 2 yrs old.  She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1998 and at Agelink since 2000.

Ms. Louisa is a Native American Indian from the Navajo Tribe. She has never been married and has no children of her own. She has two cats.  Miss Louisa has two BA’s, one in fine arts and the second in Christian Education. She has many experiences working with children, including working with early childhood education and children ministry on the Navajo reservation. Miss Louisa enjoys working with the two year olds, and does many art activities in her class. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1991 and at Agelink since 1997.

Ms. Evelyn is working toward her Child Development Associate by attending classes at Paradise Valley Community College. Ms. Evelyn will finish her CDA in preschool education this December. Ms. Evelyn enjoys cooking and reading in her spare time. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1985 and at Agelink since 2009.

 

Ms. Jennifer grew up in an Air Force family which provided her the opportunity to live in Italy and Germany. She loves the innocence of children. Watching them grow and develop is so amazing. She has her Associates Degree in Elementary Ed and is currently going to school to pursue a degree in Early Childhood and one in nutrition. She hopes to one day be able to help children overcome their weight issues.  She has been working with infants and toddlers for 15 years and at Agelink since August, 2010.

 

Ms. Jessica was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona and is the oldest of three children.  She has her Associate’s Degree in early childhood education from Phoenix College and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from ASU West. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 2006 and at Agelink since 2008.

 

 

Ms. Valerie has been married for nineteen years, and is a mother of 3 grown children. She also enjoys her 9 grandchildren.  She completed a dual Associate’s of Applied Science in Child Care Administration and Family Resource at Phoenix College.  Ms Valerie has 20 years experience in early childhood education and has been employed with Agelink since 2004.

 

Ms. Nidaa and her family are from Kurdistan, and she has three kids. She has her BA in Electrical Engineering and has credits from GCC for Early Childhood Education. She enjoys cooking and planting. She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1997 and at Agelink since 2004.

 

Mr. Joshua has been working with youth for a good portion of his life.  His mother is a former daycare center director for whom he worked as a preschool teacher for several years.  His mother now is national director of the ELEA (Evangelical Lutheran Education Association) an accrediting body which certifies learning institutions (Agelink is an ELEA member).  He has several years experience working in accreditation for this organization.   Mr. Joshua also has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Southern Maine.  His previous occupation in Maine before moving to Arizona in March of 2011 was founding and directing a non-profit 501 (c)(3) for at risk youth in his community. 

Ms. Saida attended school in Long Beach, California and is currently working on her Early ChildhoodEducation degree.  Saida enjoys decorating her home and shopping.  She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 2005 and at Agelink since 2007.

 

Ms. Chris possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Developmental Psychology, an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration and a CDA in Infant-Toddler Development as well as over 500 hours of continuous training in Early Childhood in a variety of areas such as classroom management, physical development and leadership training.   Her experience has been both in the classroom and as a Director. Her hobbies include a love for animals and children and spending time caring for them.  Ms. Chris has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1991 and at Agelink since 2007.

Ms. Mary is married, the mother of 2 grown children, and currently enjoying 3 grandchildren.  She completed her Associate of Applied Science in Child Care Administration and has been an Agelink employee since 2000.

 

Ms. Patti is an Arizona native, graduate of Mesa Mountain View High School and both Mesa Community and Phoenix College.  She has five children and enjoys playing basketball and swimming.  Ms. Patti has an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Education and a Certificate of Completion in Early Childhood Education.  She has been employed for 15 years in Early Childhood Education and at Agelink since 2004.

 

Ms. Dayna is the mother of five children ages ten, nine, eight, six and an infant.  She was born and raised here in Phoenix.  Ms. Dayna plans to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts.  She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2003 and has been employed at Agelink since 2003.

 Ms. Katherine’s passion and dedication on her journey in the early childhood education profession follows the raising of five successful children alongside her husband of thirty three years.  Together, they share the joy of four boys, one daughter, plus an adorable four year old grandson.  Her calling is serving children and families.  She has her Child Development Associate. Ms. Katherine has been in the position as lead teacher for the past 7 years.  She has been a proud member of Beatitudes Agelink since May of 2010.

 

 

Ms. Isabel has recently graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor degree on Early Childhood Education.  She did her student teaching at Beatitudes Agelink and is very happy to be a part of the staff.  Ms. Isabel is also a mother to be and is very excited to share wonderful moments with her child. Ms. Isabel is a very creative soul and likes to carry that spirit into my classroom. Being a creative soul she enjoys teaching using hands on activities because she believes that not all students are visual learners. Being hands on also helps to develop motor skills that are essential later on in a child’s education. Aside from teaching Ms. Isabel is also a Spanish tutor and a salsa instructor.

 

Ms. Maria is one of eight children and has one child of her own.  She is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at Paradise Valley Community College and has 12 years experience in early childhood classrooms.  She has been an Agelink employee since 2007.

 

Mr. Felipe  (Mr. G.) has been around early childhood education for a good portion of his life. His aunt established a Montessori school in Mexico 25 years ago. He has been involved with teaching English at the school during the summer sessions since his sophomore year in high school. Mr. Felipe is currently working on his Masters in Education.  He is very excited to be a member on the team here at Agelink.  He has been at Agelink since November, 2010.

Ms. Colleen was awarded a Certificate of Completion in Early Childhood Education in 2007 and she is currently working on her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education.  She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 1991 and at Agelink since 2007.

 

Ms. Celina was awarded a Certificate of Completion in Early Childhood Education, and is currently enrolled in Phoenix College pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood; she has over 25 years experience as an early childhood educator, and has been with Agelink since we opened in 1997.

 

Ms. Lorie has 2 dogs Cleo and Brodie.  She enjoys camping, 4-wheeling, and boating.  Ms. Lorie is in school for Associates in Elementary Education Early Childhood Education.  Afterwards, she will begin working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  She has been employed in the Early Childhood Education field since 2008 and at Agelink since August, 2010.
